Any of their songs will move gleefully from strange, experimental sounds to intense guitar jams to hypnotic rhythms that lie at the intersection of Frank Zappa, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Faust and Pink Floyd. With a constantly changing lineup of magical musicians and the illustrious Mani Neumeier at its core, Guru Guru have produced some of the most peculiar arrangements of grooves you've ever heard and loved.

The Guru Guru is a unique mix of Noise & Psychotic Rock with Inspiration drawn from bands like Sonic Youth, METZ, Pere Ubu, Melt-Banana & Deerhoof. In the spring of 2014 they released their first self-titled EP consisting of 5 songs in which the madness runs wild, like running down a stairs too fast with your pants down.
