Ian Moss is the seventh studio album by Australian musician Ian Moss. The album was announced in November 2017 alongside a national tour commencing in June 2018. and is Moss’s first solo album in nine years and his first of all original material in 22 years. The album was produced by Peter Walker, who also produced Cold Chisel's self-titled debut in 1978. The album was released in March 2018 and peaked at number 11 on the ARIA Charts, becoming Moss's second highest charting solo album in his career.

Moss described the album's sound to Beryl Cook of The Canberra Times, "it's definitely fairly R&B with a white soul edge to it, with a hint of rock and roll and plenty of big guitar over the to. Matchbook provided four singles, "Tucker's Daughter" (November 1988, which reached No. 2 on the ARIA Singles Chart), "Telephone Booth" (June 1989, No. 7), "Out of the Fire" (September, No. 29) and "Mr. Rain" (December).

Matchbook (Ian Moss album). Matchbook is an album by Cold Chisel member Ian Moss released in 1989. It spent 3 weeks at the top of the Australian Album charts in 1989 and was preceded by the single "Tucker's Daughter" which was also a No. 1 hit. The first four tracks on the album were all released as singles. Matchbook was the first solo album for Moss and featured several songs written for him by Don Walker, also from Cold Chisel.
