Lazarus is the self-titled debut studio album by the American band Lazarus released in 1971 album on the Bearsville Records label, distributed by Warner Bros. Warmth of Your Eyes was released as the first single in 1972. The album is considered one of the early albums of the Contemporary Christian movement. Lazarus was released in the US, UK, Canada, Australia in 1971 and in Japan in 2016.

In The Most Dangerous Game, Lazarus dies. He dies in the quicksand of the Death Swamp when he tries to follow the prey. In The Most Dangerous Game, the term "game" is used as a synonym for animals, prey. In this story, the game hunted are humans. Therefore, humans are "the most dangerous game". In the story, a big-game hunter is marooned on an island, and becomes the unwilling prey of another hunter.
