Tracks 1 to 6 and 12 were originally released on the Halo In A Haystack album in 1994. Track 11 was originally released on the Soundtrack To The Revolution compilation EP in 1993. Track 13 was originally released on the Boston Is Burning compilation EP in 1993. Tracks 7 to 10 were recorded at Salad Days One during the winter of 1994. Tracks 14 and 15 were recorded at West Sound in the winter of 1991-1992, and originally released on the Where Have All The Flowers Gone? demo in 1992. Track 15 was also released on the In Our Blood compilation in 1992. Japan exclusive CD pressing.

Caring and Killing: 1991 Through 1994 is a compilation album by American metalcore band Converge, originally released in 1995 through Lost & Found Records and re-released on November 17, 1997 through Hydra Head Records. The album was originally released as a European exclusive through Lost & Found Records. However, Converge became dissatisfied with the way the label was handling the release and over charging fans for their hard to find older songs.
