The 1980 Floor Show was a rock musical spectacle featuring David Bowie as the protagonist, held at the Marquee Club in Soho, London, on October 18-20, 1973, and broadcast in the United States by NBC on November 16, 1973, as part of the series The Midnight Special. The show presented the last performance of Bowie as the character Ziggy Stardust. The lineup included songs from the albums Aladdin Sane and Pin Ups, as well as the medley "1984, Dodo"

Dollars In Drag" was made up of material from Bowie's "1980 Floor Show" and three songs from his Arnold Corns period, "Hang On To Yourself", "Supermen" and "Man In The Middle". The 1980 Floor Show" was recorded on the 18th, 19th and 20th August 1973, and was broadcast on the 16th November 1973 (US only). It was recorded at The Marquee Club, 90 Wardour Street, Soho, London.

The 1980 Floor Show (a pun on the song "1984" - 19-Eighty-Floor) was the first appearance of David Bowie since his much publicised retirement on 3 July 1973 at the Hammersmith Odeon. It was also to be his last appearance as "Ziggy Stardust". The show itself was a spectacular stage production that was filmed over 3 days, mostly at The Marquee Club, Soho, London for the American NBC TV late night show The Midnight Special. The idea for the show came when Bowie was approached by Burt Sugarman to create something for The Midnight Special rock series
