They're annoying for sure, but since they just got a number nine album, they must have tapped into something, right? It's not like they had a massive media takeover. 3. I don't think The Enemy stand for whatever loutish crap Oasis fans once preached in 1999. 4. There's an awful lot of boring, shit pop music that ISN'T made with guitars. There's a lot of boring, shit pop music that IS made with guitars. 6. Who cares? 7. I think the crowd at the FA Cup Final probably enjoyed The Enemy far more than The Knife, or Jessie Ware, or whoever the Guardian sports writers like.

Album – Album, is a collection of audio recordings issued as a single item on CD, record, audio tape, or another medium. Albums of recorded music were developed in the early 20th century, first as books of individual 78rpm records, vinyl LPs are still issued, though in the 21st century album sales have mostly focused on compact disc and MP3 formats. In June 2007, The Enemy played twice at Glastonbury Festival, first in the Guardian Lounge on Saturday and they also headlined on the Saturday night of T in the Park in the Futures tent on 7 July 2007. Their single, Away From Here entered the charts at number 8 and they also supported The Rolling Stones on the last night of their European tour at the O2 Arena.

Exclusive: The Enemy tell 6 their wary album plans. 05 Mar 2008 - Following the huge success of their debut album We'll Live and Die in These Towns, Coventry trio The Enemy have spoken about their plans for its follow-up. It appears the band are taking the preparations for their new material very seriously. Or not. Over the past week we’ve recorded four concept albums, singer Tom Clarke jokes.

Sleeping With the Enemy is the second album of . militant political rapper Paris. Released in 1992, it stimulated much controversy with the songs "Bush Killa" (a revenge fantasy about the assassination of then-president George H. W. Bush) and "Coffee, Donuts & Death," (a cop-killing tirade). It also featured a young DJ Shadow on production.

Today, they released the second single off of the upcoming album, the title song The Day Is My Enemy. The track opens with epic sounding drums and eerie looping vocals, and then progresses into heavy, violent beats almost reminiscent of Marilyn Manson. Everything about it still screams The Prodigy, and clearly displays the band’s ability to fuse together rock and electronic music into something awesome. The band claims this new album will be their best yet, and this makes us hopeful that the wait has been worth it. Listen below.
