Time And A Word is a music studio album recording by YES (Symphonic Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1970 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Definitely an improvement on the debut album, Time And A Word was released just like it's predecessor with a different artwork on both sides of the Atlantic (the ocean, not the label ;o))), but this time, the European got the better deal as the American version had a band snapshot in a cemetery, but with Steve Howe (ex-Tomorrow) in. the fold instead of guitarist Peter Banks ? which shows how quick and abruptly Yes fired him.

Before they broke out with The Yes Album, Yes recorded two albums that aren’t particularly remembered as great achievements. Their self-titled debut was however quite good, and very interesting in hindsight of what they’ve gone to achieve later. Not exactly the same can be said about Time and a Word.

The Yes Album is the third studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released on 19 February 1971 by Atlantic Records.
