Misha Mengelberg (5 June 1935 – 3 March 2017) was a Dutch jazz pianist and composer. A prominent figure in post-WWII European Jazz, Mengelberg is known for his forays into free improvisation, for bringing humor into his music, and as a leading interpreter of songs by fellow pianists Thelonious Monk and Herbie Nichols. 2009: Mill (Conundrom), with Cor Fuhler and Michiel Scheen. 2011: It Won't Be Called Broken Chair (Psi), with Evan Parker. 2013: Lucebert, Jazz & Poetry '65 (Uitgeverij Huis Clos), with Misha Mengelberg, Piet Noordijk Kwartet (Han Bennink, Rob Langereis). 2014: Nunc! (Nemu), with Dirk Bell, Ryan Carniaux, Gerd Dudek, Joscha Oetz, and Nils Tegen.

Cor Fuhler (born 1964 in Barger-Oosterveld, Drenthe, Netherlands) is a Dutch/Australian improvisor, composer, and instrument builder associated with free jazz, experimental music and acoustic ecology. He plays piano by manipulating sound with electromagnetic string stimulators like ebows and motorized actuators. He invented the keyolin, a combination of keyboard and violin.
Cor Fuhler ( 1964 in Barger- Oosterveld ) is a Dutch pianist, keyboardist and composer. He is active in the field of jazz and experimental electro-acoustic music. He works with live electronics and also plays self-designed instruments such as the Keyoline, a violin with keyboard. Fuhler studied until 1989 at the Sweelinck Conservatorium, next he took lessons from Misha Mengelberg. In 1995 he founded the trio Fuhler, Bennink, de Joode with which he recorded the album Bella Gram and the live CD recorded Zilch 1998. In 1999, he took with DJ Cor Blimey and His Pigeon Album 10 Songs in 62 Minutes and 23 Seconds on. With his group Corkestra ( with Ab Baars, Tobias Delius, Anne La Berge, Andy Moor, Nora Mulder, Wilbert de Joode, Tony Buck, Michael Vatcher ) took Fuhler 2004, the eponymous album. Fuhler was a student of Misha Mengelberg of the Instant Composers Pool.
