Late Night Tales: Floating Points - Студийный альбом от Floating Points. Вышел 29 марта 2019г. В альбом вошло 18 треков.

It was unlikely the first Floating Points album would've been anything other than beautiful, though its stunning virtuosity turned out more elusive than expected.

Элитные и дорогие предметы для Вашего интерьера.

Floating Points - The Sweet Time Suite, Part I: Opening (02:58) 17. Lauren Laverne - Ah! Why, Because The Dazzling Sun (02:47). 18. Late Night Tales: Floating Points - Continuous Mix (01:17:29).

Sam Shepherd is an English electronic musician and neuroscientist, who records and performs music under the name Floating Points. Shepherd is also a co-founder of the label Eglo Records. After several EPs, singles and live appearances, Shepherd released Floating Points' debut studio album, Elaenia, in November 2015, to widespread critical acclaim.

Floating Points - Ratio (Pt. Ii Organ), Ratio (Pt. Ii Dub) -- Same composition!!!

Sarah Davachi s opener Untitled sets the tone: essentially seven minutes of a single modulating synth chord, it s an early warning that this is no cobbled together collection of chill out tunes destined for Top Shop s in store soundsystem, but instead a journey to some of downtempo music s more far out fringes, where you ll find straight up soul and jazz nestled up alongside 70s agit folk, flotation tank ambience, experimental electronica and more. It might all be a little dense and daunting for the uninitiated, but Floating Points fans will lap it up. Late Night Tales: Floating Points. The latest instalment in the long-running 'Late Night Tales' series has been curated by experimental beatsmith and jazzbo Floating Points.

Floating Points - LateNightTales. 1. Sarah Davachi – Untitled, Live in Portland (07:03) 2. The Rationals – Glowin' (04:15) 3. Bobby Wright – Blood of an American (04:20) 4. Sweet & Innocent – Express Your Love (02:49) 5. Robert Vanderbilt & the Foundation of Souls – A Message Especially from God (03:48) 6. The Defaulters – Gentle Man (04:53) 7. Alain Bellaïche – Sun Blues (01:55) 8. Alain Bellaïche –.

This Late Night Tales excursion into the depths of the evening reflects his broad tastes. The globally-travelled producer has collected untold treasures on his travels from dusty stores in Brazil to market stalls near his hometown. Toshimaru Nakamura – Nimb (03:41) 13. Floating Points – The Sweet Time Suite, Part I: Opening (02:58) 14. Lauren Laverne – Ah!

It's clear he feels this way too; using the album to delve deeper into electronic deconstructions and delicate ensemble arrangements. At its most adventurous and contemporary classical "Argente" is up there with Frahm, at is dreamiest and jazz-influenced "For Marmish" is a deeply cosmic affair with disparate chords making more sense than they perhaps should

these out-of-tune synths are magnificent. awesome release. sounds funny when played at 33rpm by accident
"limited" to 2000 copies lololol. What an irrational hype-beast of a record
Perfect as intro but thats it mostly. Still a good track.
with the full digi mix out its clear that PL03DJ is the deconstructed back half of the full tune from the official 12"....shame it doesnt include the full front half but damn does it move
anyone else's pressing not of great quality? Skips constantly through the middle?
yep, mine has weird bubbling on a few spots that affect playback
They still have these in store at Rubadub in Glasgow, not sure about online though
Simple fellow
In order to own/play all versions of this track (on vinyl) you will need to buy three 12"s (for around 40 pounds). i.e. The 'Unknown' version, and then two copies of the "Ratio' 12" - so you can play them simultaneously to 'create' the track. Pretty lame.

Pretty lame. Wouldn't you'd just need this version + a single copy of Ratio? e.g. play Ratio side A, mix into this, then back into side B?
This 'Unknown' version is way better than the Ratio versions.Glad I have this one... I won't buy the Ratio release.
Any idea the main difference between this and the Ratio versions? I'd like to DJ with it, so looking for the best "DJ tool" version.
Knights from Bernin
Floating Points - Ratio (Pt. Ii Organ) / Ratio (Pt. Ii Dub)---Same composition!!!Why have so made??? (((Deception on money.
appears that this is supposed to be used as a "dj tool" alongside the new release Ratio (which is 19 minutes long and has the track split down into bass and drums on one side and then organ on the other)
Dandr FP - Ratio this appears to an extended version of that
It is a pretty nice well structured track, makes me want to play Pink Floyd afterwards
There must be a LOT of copies of this - 2,000 seems right - as you can buy it from sellers here for c. 15/16 pounds and a lot of shops clearly got stock. Why its an anonymous release I can't figure out - does it sample or riff on someone else's music? Or is it just a way to create a buying 'frenzy'!
Sometimes these pressing plants press extra copies to go on the black market. bootlegging was rife in the 90's.
Hmmmm, people who have this is getting close to that 200 mark, me thinks maybe more than 200 were pressed.
Love Vinyl sold 130 copies alone. let alone the other 19 stores that sold it. 2000 sounds about right.
I didn't say I believe that 2000 copies were pressed, but I'm not sure I believe 200 were pressed either. Just inferences, as right now 179 people have and 25 copies are up for sale, which means there are currently 204 copies we can attest to.
Yeah, looks like its 200 copies. Don't believe it would sell out in two days if it was 2000.
must be only 200 copies as sold out so quick?
2000 . . . . . . . . .
"this is a one-off unreleased I have been playing around with for a while, unlikely to get a full release" - Floating Points
Where did you find this quote? 4 3 2 1
100% Floating Points. Same drum pattern as ARP3. Needed a minimum of ten words!
Now that I've I heard the whole record, I must say this is absolutely brilliant.
$$$????Available on Discogs !! Duhhh !!!????$$$ Very nice prices.... NOT !!
Looks like its gone gone gone. Anyone else seen it anywhere?
So people are rolling over this release, but can anyone tell something about the music itself? No sound clips at any site.
Mr Freeman

Ugh, 10 min deep house track by Floating Points = I'm sold.

actually only 200 apparently 5 4 3 2 1 0
No confirmation, but seeing that 20 shops got stock of this, and Redeye saying that they got 5 (maybe some of the larger shops got 10 or 20) it would suggest something closer to 200 copies.
Now up on Juno, don't sleep! words words words
still up on Norman Records Although had a few issues with stock there before.
By next month this'll either be worth hundreds or £20.
sharks be on it, fancy it for 99.99 quid ...
