I blasted side 2, "John Lee Hooker" over and over on my first pair of speakers and a 25 watt amp. I don't know if I ever listened to side 1. Finally, I am able to relive those days without the ticks and pops of my vinyl recording (long, long gone. I basically paid 20 some dollars and waited 5 weeks for one song. I had this album on vinyl 'many' years ago. It's Australian release was called: Johnny Rivers 'LIVE' at Whiskey A Go Go. Of course Johhny was dubbed as being the 'founder' of the Go Go Clubs back in the 60's. This album includes Johhny performing some great 'covers'. In particular, his rendition of Memphis Tennessee, which I believe is the best version ever recorded. As an OZ 'DJ' I play it 'often' on my radio program. The ultimate track being the title track of John Lee Hooker.
