Dismember's debut album is one of the crucial documents of the early-'90s Swedish death metal scene. Along with Unleashed's Where No Life Dwells, Grave's Into the Grave, and Entombed's Left Hand Path, this disc established a sonic template that retro acts like Bloodbath and Death Breath, and young bands like Fatalist, are still adhering to today

I am going to hazard a guess that most of those are illustrated by the same person.

In fact, the leads on this album sound like Glenn Tipton gone br00tal. Not to mention that they fucking WORK too. The band is from Sweden, but don't be expecting any gothenburg to come flying out of your speakers. Drumwork on this album is done nicely as well. Estby keeps it interesting by changing tempo and drum patterns quite frequently.
