Living in the Past Tracklist. 1. A Song for Jeffrey Lyrics. Live albums were very popular on vinyl, especially for bands like Jethro Tull that took dedicated massive creative effort their live performances. This vinyl came with a hard cover rather than the usual soft cardboard, and contained pages of pictures of the band: Plenty of photos of their live performances, along with photo shoots of the band goofing around and openly enjoying being weird. Living in the Past Q&A.

Most of the songs, apart from a few heavily played album tracks ("Song for Jeffrey," et. and a pair of live tracks from a 1970 Carnegie Hall show, came off of singles and EPs that, apart from the title song, were scarcely known in America, and it's all so solid that it needs no apology or explanation. Not only was Ian Anderson writing solid songs every time out,.

The (Norwegian?) version with two tone Sonet label has the Pecko/Porky matrix on all four sides.

Re: Comment from blach about this album. There are no "Scandinavian" issues as such. Scandinavia comprises Norway, Denmark and Sweden. Records are made in one or more of these countries. Example: The single "The Legend Of Xanadu" by DDDBM&T was made in Norway and exported to Sweden and Denmark, but it still is a Norwegian issue. No Swedish or Danish issues have been registered. Regarding this particular album, the issue registered on Discogs is Swedish. blach is correct in that NCB (Nordic Copyright Bureau) comprises all the Scandinavian countries (+ Finland and Iceland), but this particular copy is Swedish, as can be identified by NCB in a rectangular box (to add to the confusion, some Norwegian and most Danish issues also has this version of the NCB). As blach bought his copy in Denmark, it must have been exported there from Sweden (I do not think a Danish issue exists). I recently aquired the Norwegian issue of this album, and the labels are different from this one. The Norwegian issue also is rarer than the Swedish one. Will try to list it on Discogs when I have the time. To sum it up, there are no "Scandinavian" issues. They should be listed by the correct country.
