The Marshall Mathers LP is the third studio album by American rapper Eminem, released on May 23, 2000 by Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. The album was produced mostly by Dr. Dre and Eminem, along with The 45 King, the Bass Brothers, and Mel-Man. It was recorded over a two-month period in several studios in the Detroit area, and during this time, Eminem felt significant pressure to improve upon the success of his previous record.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is the eighth studio album by American rapper Eminem. It was released on November 5, 2013 by Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records, and Interscope Records.

Eminem is no one's hack, though, and the album has tantalizing moments of vintage performance.

With the notable exception of Slim Shady, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 sees Em’s whole crew of incorrigible split-personas pile into the booth: cynically homophobic Eminem; adolescently angsty Eminem; t Eminem; angry, possibly mid-poo Eminem. These are the Ems behind Mathers’s mid-career slide into wackness, and they sound worse than ever in the context of a purported return to peak form. And Kendrick Lamar’s verse on "Love Game," elatedly rapped in the key of Em, forces Mathers to dig deep to play the role of master. MMLP2 is a legitimate sequel-there are no gimmicks here. What are your thoughts?

Bad Guy" Eminem introduces The Marshall Mathers LP 2 by bringing his dark side to light and calling out his transgression through the voice of Stan’s vengeful brother, Matthew Mitchell. One of the best songs on the album for its shifting storytelling, Eminem comes face-to-face with his worst enemy by playing off the narration of "Stan

Upon multiple listens I can safely say my expectations were wrong. Not only does Eminem‘s MMLP2 live up to the first, but it’s some of the best work Eminem has ever recorded. The project opens up with Bad Guy –a song penned as if it’s written by Stan‘s little brother Matthew.

Mine was insanely warped. But not in the traditional way - it was cut off severely centre and had uneven cutting around the outside of the dead wax. Still sounded and played fine though.
I did notice a strong sibilance problem on Headlights. I am not satisfied with the sound quality.
Bought a copy of this and it was severely warped. Took it back, got a replacement and once again it was warped. Oh well, still sounds good so I'll suck it up.
taylor1321 Hey, are you having any sibilance issues with your copy? Especially during Headlights? Just played Headlights and yes, sibilance issues on that track for sure.
